Upgrading you Engine

You do not need special access to upgrade your engine, but you will require available tonnage. If your Starting Mech has a Type 1S Engine which weighs 5 Tons, upgrading it to a 2S would only be an additional 2.5 Tons.

Adding Heat Sinks / Jump Jets

You can add as many Heat Sinks as you have available spaces; they have a fixed price and a fixed requirement for critical space. Jump Jets vary based on the weight of the Mech; their cost remains the same, but their weight may increase with the weight of the Mech.
