Armor Upgrades
Each slot of your Mech can be upgraded as you prefer, restricted only by the tonnage of the Mech. These upgrades have no restrictions on Tonnage – heavier armors will be listed when the ‘Mech’s approach the required weight. The listed armors also include the weight of your internal armor for that slot, although the amount of internal armor your Mech has is determined by the its tonnage.
When reading these cards, Cost is independent of your current build; it costs 5000 to upgrade a 1S Arm to a 2S, and an additional 10000 to upgrade the 2S to 3S (although you will have a 2S card you can give to an ally or save for an alternate Mech). Weight is its total weight, not its cumulative weight, so upgrading from a 1S Arm to a 2S Arm only requires an additional 0.5 tons.

Internal / Rear Armor
Your internal armor rating is based on your tonnage. This chart shows what your internal armor rating is, based on your Mech’s weight. Your Rear Torso armor is the same as your internal armor for that slot.
